The PV-CLAMP is a device specifically designed for the attachment of PV modules directly onto C shaped profiles. The PV-CLAMP is the most cost effective solution as there is no need for intermediate rails or sub-frames, nor drilling or cutting. Additionally, the required fitting time is significantly less than that of any other fixing solution.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION STEPS

1Insert the nut in the socket on the side of the component.

2Insert the screw to the bottom of the component and push while screwing it, until it reaches the nut.

3 Apply more force until the barrel neck brakes.

4 Continue screwing until the PV module and the supporting profile are pressed firmly between the barrel and the top of the PV-CLAMP.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

In this image you can see a typical installation scenario in section view. Two PV modules are placed side by side and are both clamped on a C shaped purlin using a PV-CLAMP.

ZERO FIELD FABRICATION

No preparation or modification of the underlying structrure is required. Just place the PV module on the underlying C shaped profile and use the PV-CLAMP to fix it in place.

ONE MINUTE INSTALLATION PER PV MODULE

Each PV module requires four PV-CLAMPs. After a PV module is placed on the structure, a single person needs less than a minute to install all four PV-CLAMPs.

DESIGNED FOR SAFETY

Designed to bear at least 5 times the maximum load that a PV module can withstand.

FLEXIBLE

Can be used on almost any commercially available framed PV module independently of its outer dimensions. The EPC can change the module’s provider even after the assembly of the frames in the field, which is very common.

LOW INVENTORY NEEDS

PV Modules with different heights (e.g. 30, 35, 40 mm) can be fixed using the same clamp, minimizing the required inventory.

COST EFFECTIVE

Significant cost savings, up to 50%, compared to any competitive approach (labor included).

THEFT PROTECTION

If theft protection is required, special screws can be used to make it impossible to remove the PV-Clamp without destroying it.
